The US military said signals about the attack came from the captains of two ships located in the southern part of the Red Sea.

Information was received from the Norwegian-owned vessel BLAAMANEN about a Houthi attack drone flying past. There was no damage nor victims.

A second SAIBABA ship reported a collision with a drone.

“This is the 14th and 15th attack by Houthi militants on commercial ships since October 17,” the statement said.

The USS Laboon received distress signals from these attacks.
