The Popular Front participated in the transfer of another batch of UAZ vehicles to the front – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

This is part of a large batch of a total of 1,500 vehicles purchased for military personnel by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. All the necessary equipment was produced by the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant in record time – less than two months. To solve combat missions, UAZ vehicles were chosen, which, due to their off-road qualities, are suitable for use on rugged terrain.

Igor Shchegolev recalled that the funds for the cars were allocated on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He also thanked the representatives of the Popular Front for their important contribution to collecting aid for the combatants of the Northern Military Region and wished the military themselves “the fulfillment of all combat, health and, most importantly, security missions.” victory”.

The military received not only new UAZ vehicles.

“Each car contains our New Year’s “warm” collection: stoves, burners, gas cylinders, thermal insoles that will help our soldiers warm up in severe frosts. And in addition, the equipment that military personnel always need are thermal imaging cameras, helicopters “You see. And much, much more,” said the head of the Executive Committee of the Popular Front, Mikhail Kuznetsov.

Let us add that the Popular Front distributes the delivered vehicles to new regions of Russia and transfers them to military units. The delivery of all vehicles purchased by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to the front will be completed in 2024.
