In Dagestan, 127 thousand people were left without electricity due to strong winds – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

According to data from the department, at 6:00 p.m. more than 127 thousand inhabitants of the republic remained without electricity. The accident affected 57 settlements. As clarified by the region’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, Makhachkala was also partially affected by the closure.

Previously, the emergency service warned of strong winds: from the northwest with gusts of up to 20 meters per second, in some areas its strength can reach 28 meters per second. The height of the waves is 1.5 to 2.5 meters. The bad weather is expected to last until 9 p.m.

30 teams made up of 90 people and 31 special teams work on the ground.
