The new department included two production facilities: the Kashtan pumping station, the Klyukvennaya loading station and a section of the main oil pipeline with a total length of 343 km. In the fall of 1964, about 890 km of oil pipelines and two oil pumping stations, Rybinsk and Nizhneudinsk, were added to the RNU area of responsibility. Other facilities were later put into operation.

Today, the branch structure includes six pumping stations: Achinskaya, Rybinsk linear production and dispatch stations (LPDS), Kemchugskaya and Poymenskaya oil pumping stations (OPS), Voznesenka oil pumping station and Kashtan oil pumping. The RNU team carries out maintenance on almost 1,300 kilometers of the linear part of the Omsk – Irkutsk, Anzhero-Sudzhensk – Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk – Irkutsk oil pipelines. The tank farm is located at the main pumping station, Rybinsk LPDS.

The Krasnoyarsk RNU staff numbers almost 1,000 people. Employees of the branch ensure uninterrupted transportation of oil through three main pipelines to the eastern regions of the country. They also ensure the delivery of raw materials to the Achinsk oil refinery and the acceptance and delivery point in the city of Uyar.

To maintain a high level of operational reliability at RNU facilities, the production infrastructure is constantly modernized. Within the framework of the technical re-equipment and reconstruction program for 2023, numerous works were carried out to replace shut-off valves both in the pumping stations and in the linear part of the main pipelines. At the Rybinsk LPDS and the Kashtan oil pumping station, technical and safety engineering systems have been modernized. Four new electric motors with improved energy-saving characteristics were installed on PS Voznesenka. Technical re-equipment of the lightning protection systems of the production infrastructure was carried out.

Krasnoyarsk National University also makes a great contribution to the socio-economic development of settlements where production facilities are located. With the support of branch employees, important volunteer projects are being implemented.
