The training took place in the Sea of ​​Japan, at one of the naval ranges. The frigate successfully completed the task of detecting and destroying an enemy submarine.

According to the legend of the exercise, the crew was alerted when an “enemy” ship was sighted in Russian waters.

“Marshal Shaposhnikov” arrived at the search area within the established deadlines. The search for the submarine was carried out with standard equipment and the Ka-27 anti-submarine helicopter of the Pacific Fleet naval aviation. The helicopter crew discovered the submarine using a sonar station.

The combat crews of the frigate “destroyed” the underwater “intruder”. To do this, they fired depth charges from the RBU-6000 rocket launcher.
