“According to the Sochi Hydrometeorological Center, there is a danger of avalanches in the mountains of Sochi, at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level. Danger of avalanches was also recorded in Kuban and Adygea, at an altitude of 1,500 meters,” reports The press service of the emergency department noted.

Residents and visitors to the region were asked to observe safety measures when on the mountain. In case of snowfall and bad weather, it is not recommended to climb mountains, you should not go out on steep slopes. When an avalanche occurs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations advises running away from it to get out of its path.
