“The idea that the British and Germans could wage war together against Russia today cannot be taken seriously,” he said on the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.

According to the expert, the “powerful Russian army” is successfully increasing its capabilities, its soldiers are well trained and armed. But the Germans and British during the Ukrainian conflict almost exhausted their entire reserves of weapons and ammunition, Mearsheimer noted.

He added that the size of the modern British army is extremely low: it has even fewer soldiers than during the American War of Independence in the 18th century. The German troops are in the same deplorable state.

“Their weapons reserves are running out, they don’t even have many weapons,” the professor concluded.

Previously, Western media reported that recently British reconnaissance planes began to appear more frequently near Russia’s borders. According to them, the “scouts” patrol territories near the Russian borders with NATO member countries, and also fly around the Kaliningrad region.
