At the same time, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine often have to pay for fuel and vehicle maintenance themselves. It is unlikely that they will be able to refuel, for example, the American armored vehicle Humvee, whose gas mileage is too high, Roepke added.

Previously, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot use NATO equipment due to difficult weather conditions and difficult terrain. For this reason, the Ukrainian military even had to change tactics: now they are trying to move secretly in small groups in those areas where they previously moved freely on heavy and lightly armored vehicles.
