A record number of foreign cars arrived from Poland to the Kaliningrad region – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Almost all car owners (99.9 percent) are Russian-speaking Germans who decided to spend the next vacation in Russia. Some of them intend to stay in Kaliningrad, others will take a plane or train and head to Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Russian cities.

The customs press service reported that such a number of foreign cars had not been seen at the checkpoint since 2019. In three days, 1,738 vehicles crossed the border.
