Zaluzhny called the situation at the front difficult, but controllable – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

On his Telegram channel he reported that for the first time he participated in a meeting of the contact group on military assistance to kyiv (Ramstein format). At this meeting Zaluzhny informed Ukraine’s partners in detail about the situation on the battlefield.

“The situation on the front is difficult, but controllable,” Zaluzhny noted, adding that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to carry out defensive and offensive operations.

The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also thanked Western partners for their support. According to him, the announced aid packages will strengthen Ukraine’s air defense system, artillery and electronic warfare systems.

Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Yevgeny Shevchenko called Zaluzhny guilty of the failure of Ukraine’s counteroffensive. According to him, it was the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who forced the troops to go to the Russian minefields and attack the center of the reinforced defense, forgetting about the flanks and diversion and deception maneuvers.
