Ukrainian citizens detained in Northern Cyprus for the murder of a Russian – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

As the newspaper Kibris Gazetesi reports, this is the Russian Mikhail Kamyshanov, who was found dead on Monday afternoon in one of the shops in Kyrenia. Investigators concluded that the deceased was strangled and that the bag he was carrying was missing.

Sergei Mikhailichenko, Katerina Kotenko and Andrei Volkovsky were detained on suspicion of committing a crime. According to local police, two suspects committed the murder and left the crime scene through a window. The third detainee was detained for maintaining contact with his accomplice.

All suspects have been arrested and an investigation is underway.
