Recall that it was previously reported that the border crossing between the United States and Canada was closed after the explosion of a car at a checkpoint on the bridge over Niagara Falls. Two people died.

According to AP, the explosion occurred on the US side of the bridge that connects the two countries on opposite banks of the Niagara River. Three other bridges between Western New York and Ontario were reportedly closed as a precaution.
