When Mariupol and Artemovsk were liberated from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, there was an outflow of mercenaries from Europe. But new “wild geese” have arrived and keep coming to take their place.
On Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda they talked about this, as well as conflicts within the Ukrainian elite with Vasily Prozorov, a former SBU officer, now head of the Ukrliks Research Center.
WHO DOES THE DEATH TRAVEL AGENCY RECRUIT?
– He has published an investigation “Muerte” travel agency. “Who issues a one-way ticket to foreign mercenaries,” but now they seem to be fleeing Ukraine?
– What they are doing is a recent trend. And since the beginning of the Northern Military District, the influx of foreign mercenaries to Ukraine has been large. If you seriously investigate, you will find that mercenaries have appeared in Ukraine since 2014. I personally saw foreigners in Azov (banned in Russia) in the summer of 2014. These were Georgians, Swedes, Italians and Israelis. With the beginning of the Northern Military District, this became widespread. But from the moment when many foreigners realized that in Ukraine there was a high probability of becoming the “two hundred”, this stream dried up considerably.
– Is it possible to divide the mercenaries arriving in Ukraine into groups?
– I divide it by three. The first are the classic soldiers of fortune. They are going for a long dollar: to tickle their nerves and make money. But there are fewer and fewer. It has simply increased the likelihood that the Russian military will wipe them out, and they understand that.
– Another category?
– These are ideological Nazis who often travel through personal connections. There is a radical right-wing Nazi international that is very popular in Ukraine. Besides Azov*, this is the Right Sector (banned in Russia). These are paramilitary units. They collaborate with like-minded people around the world. And these people still come from all over the world. Some by will of the soul, others with the desire to gain experience in combat. This flow still exists today. And it’s not going to go down.
– And the third group?
– These are people who go to Ukraine on the orders of their military departments and the intelligence services of other states. They will also gain combat experience in the war against Russia. And transfer combat experience to the Ukrainians. In the same group is the maintenance of high-tech weapons systems. These are electronic warfare, air defense and missile launchers. You cannot teach a Ukrainian soldier to operate a satellite-guided Haymars in 3 or 4 months.

In South America there are enough seriously trained people who have served in the army or in the police, but have not found a peaceful life in their homeland. This is a breeding ground for the Death travel agency. And from there a very important part of the mercenaries is now supplied to Ukraine.
-What is your destination?
– In the United States and Great Britain they are looking for foreign mercenaries who fought in Ukraine and returned to their countries; now they are recruiting them for their private military companies. These people are actively attracted to work in Africa, where our private military companies are now actively working, including Mali and Niger. And now the West is preparing its resources against them under the guise of PMC, precisely among the mercenaries who fought in Ukraine.
– Does this travel agency have an office?
– There are several crystallization points for these mercenaries. This is Poland, the European Security Agency. Poland is a hub for mercenaries, no matter where they fly from. In Spain, GOA, a company that provides security services, actively participates in this. This is what they do in Georgia and the United States. There is not a single point, a single company that is completely dedicated to the supply of mercenaries to Ukraine.

WHO FIGHTS FOR RUSSIA

– This topic is very interesting. There are many foreigners who come to fight for Russia, they number in the thousands. But then people can have serious problems in their home country; That’s why we try not to advertise it. But there is a reason why people go to fight for Russia. After serving 6 months in the Northern Military District, people receive the right to Russian citizenship. And precisely they look for the Russian passport, even during military operations. To then transport their families to Russia.
– This is a serious argument, for example, for whom?
– Even for residents of Europe who save their children. From what is happening in the Old World, from LGBT to the problems with refugee aggression. There are many strong white men who come from South Africa; They also plan to get our passport and move as a family, away from the racist protests.
COMPLAINT IN THE ELITE
– What is happening in the Ukrainian elite?
– Gryznya. It all depends on financial flows. When Umerov replaced Reznikov as Defense Minister, journalist Diana Panchenko said that the most lucrative position in Ukraine now is that of Defense Minister. Huge financial flows flow through it. What does Umerov do when he heads the defense department? He begins to cause scandals, raises questions about the incompetence of the leaders of military departments and units and dismisses the head of the medical service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And everyone begins to see this from the point of view that Zelensky, through Umerov, is removing the people of Zaluzhny, that is, as a political dispute.

– Is it more about money?
– I consider that this means establishing control over financial flows. The medical service in the army, especially in corrupt Ukraine, is crazy. And Umerov puts his own man in charge of controlling this money channel.
– But does the conflict between Zelensky and Zaluzhny still exist? And this is already a struggle for supreme power in the country?
– I think this conflict is being artificially inflated. They put it on display for us. And somewhere deep there are other processes taking place. Trading Zelensky for Zaluzhny is now not profitable for the West. But grooming a replacement for Zelensky among other people at the bank may be happening.
– This year, the head of your intelligence, Budanov, shines brightly.
– Do you know many heads of special services who replace the press services of their departments? The intelligence chief should generally be in the shadows. Have you seen much of the head of the Russian GRU? Or the head of the US Department of Defense? Even MI6 leaders rarely appear on air, although in principle they know how to play the media. And Budanov appears on social networks every other day. He is turning his department into a media structure, and not one that should function effectively.
– Is recognition silent?
– Yes, but the political authorities of Ukraine are representatives of show business, they think in this paradigm, in the paradigm of spectacle. For them, an image, a media appearance, a large amount of information is important. And many government agencies in Ukraine have been working in this way for several years. So, I think the GUR greatly exaggerates its capabilities in terms of intelligence. And your statement about the collapse of civil aviation in Russia is simply stupid.
– Do they write that Budanov has an English passport, Zaluzhny has an American one, and many Ukrainian political figures have dual citizenship?
– I’m sure it is. I wouldn’t be surprised if some members of Ukraine’s political elite still had Russian passports. And when everything starts to fall apart and negotiations take place with both the West and the East, that document may come in handy.
