The stone with the last message of Roman Rudakov will become a monument and will be installed in a military unit – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Rostov-on-Don. Headquarters of the 103rd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the legendary 150th Division. It was from here that a carefully carved stone from the wall with Roman’s message was brought under guard to the city of Bataysk today. To show it to the mother of the deceased, Olga Rudakova, and ask her permission to restore the stone and make a monument out of it to be installed on the territory of the regiment.

“So that all soldiers and officers see it, look at it and admire Roman’s courage, make a military salute in memory of his son. So that there is a reminder for everyone, and for everyone who is in the area of ​​an operation special military officer, “They are there for the good of their families, their children and their mothers. Let me leave a stone in the regiment as a memory,” Román’s colleague addressed Olga Rudakova.

The restoration of the stone will take place at the Rostov Museum of Local Lore. It is necessary to preserve it for many years.

Let us remember that, in the name of the Russian Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, the last wish of Roman Rudakov will be fulfilled: “to take care of his mother, his sister and his brother”, which he asked for in a note scribbled on a stone. The head of the department personally took control of all assistance to this family, including the allocation of an apartment and the treatment of Roman’s younger brother in St. Petersburg.
