The Spanish stock market, like the rest of the European markets, will remain closed until next Wednesday, December 27, since this Monday, it will not operate because it is Christmas Day, and on Tuesday, because it is Saint Stephen’s Day.

According to the calendar established by Spanish Stock Exchanges and Markets (BME) for 2023, the Spanish stock market has five holidays during this year.

They were already non-working days on April 7, Good Friday; Monday, April 10, Easter Monday; and May 1, Labor Day.

The last two holidays of 2023 will be tomorrow, Monday, December 25, Christmas Day, and Tuesday, December 26, St. Stephen’s Day.

For 2024, BME, the operator of the Variable Income, Fixed Income and Derivatives markets in Spain, has set one more holiday, a total of six.

In this way, in 2024, the Spanish stock market will not open on Monday, January 1 (New Year); Friday, March 29 (Good Friday); Monday, April 1 (Easter Monday); Wednesday, May 1, Labor Day; Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas); and Thursday, December 26 (Saint Stephen).

On Tuesday, December 24, and Tuesday, December 31, the market will remain open until 2 p.m.
