The second group of Palestinian refugees arrived in Dagestan – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

At the station they were received by the President of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, psychologists and doctors, who accompanied them to the place of temporary accommodation. The refugees received warm clothing and food.

According to the Commissioner for Children’s Rights of the Republic, Marina Yezhova, children will receive psychological assistance.

“The remaining issues regarding future life, employment of adults and education of children will be decided by the government of Dagestan,” said Prime Minister of the Republic of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov.

Palestinians Alhajal Khalil and Khalid Awad shared their impressions upon their arrival in Dagestan.

“Thank you to the Russian multinational people for everything! Our path was difficult. What is happening in Palestine is not war, it is destruction. More than five thousand children died, thousands more were left under the rubble. Once upon a time, both of us We marry Russian girls and we our wives. Thanks to Dagestan for the warm welcome. It breaks my heart to see the number of people who want to help us,” the Palestinians said.

In just two days, 77 people from the Gaza Strip arrived in Dagestan, including 35 children. All of them are accommodated in comfortable conditions in sanatoriums near Makhachkala.
