One of the most anticipated unconventional releases in the near future should be a film about Boris Ryzhy, one of the most talented and underrated Russian poets (of course, he was appreciated by those who understand poetry, but he was not promoted in the same way) . (like Yevtushenko, Rozhdestvensky and other “pop” authors) – the main character was played by musician Evgeny Alekhine, lead singer of the group “Makulatura”.

Many famous St. Petersburg musicians took part in the project, both themselves and other stars (for example, Oleg Garkusha played the aforementioned Yevtushenko). However, one of the director’s most unexpected decisions was to appoint actor Alexander Ilyin Jr., known for his role as the foolish intern Lobanov in the television series “Interns”, to play the role of Yegor Letov.

To put it mildly, Alexander doesn’t look much like the Civil Defense leader, either visually or internally. The actor became famous for the roles of narrow-minded, unintelligent, wide-eyed characters, and also for the image of Robert Rozhdestvensky (“Mysterious Passion”), whom he looks exactly like even without makeup. Perhaps the image of Grigory Rasputin inspired the creators of “Red” for such a casting decision; After all, in the unsuccessful series “Karamora” by Danila Kozlovsky, Ilyin Jr. also had a beard (like Letov).

And he also plays music. In the group “Lomonosov Plan” Alexander sings simple rock and roll lyrics:

“From the basement to the store

On the train, a drink and amen.

Two heads – an eagle

“Two capitals, one life”

This probably also influenced the producers’ decision. Although it is still very, very difficult to imagine an actor in the image of the intellectual and intelligent punk Yegor Letov. The release date of the film “Red” by Semyon Serzin, presented at the Mayak festival, has not yet been set.
