“Think about it: only eight percent of those required to perform military service came from the city of Sumy!” – Artyukh exclaimed. A video of his comment was posted on the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua.

Artyukh also complained that in many communities in the Sumy region there is no registry of people who must perform military service and that companies and institutions do not comply with mobilization plans.

Increasingly, images of military registration and enlistment office employees using force against Ukrainian men when serving subpoenas appear in the media and on social networks. At the same time, even those who are not suitable for service due to age or health are subject to mobilization. There are also frequent publications dedicated to how deputies and officials of the Rada evade service and try to take their children out of the country.

Recall that in October the Ministry of Education of Ukraine sent an explanation to all universities that students taking academic leave could be mobilized to the front. A law was also passed requiring women between the ages of 18 and 60 who have a medical specialty to register for military service.
