The Investigative Committee opened a case into the death of a 12-year-old girl on the Tyumen-Adler train – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

The event occurred on the afternoon of December 20. The girl was traveling on a long-distance train as part of an organized group, when her condition suddenly worsened.

“In the Penza region, emergency medical workers who arrived at the train recorded the death of a child. To establish the exact cause of death, a forensic medical examination has been appointed and is being carried out,” the department said in a release.

On the night of December 21, the train arrived at the station in the city of Balashov, Saratov region, from where, after being examined, the remaining children were hospitalized, the report clarifies. The incident is also being investigated.
