Today the Third Congress of Young Scientists opened in the federal territory of Sirius. This is the key annual event of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia. Without exaggeration, we can say that brainstorming will take place here on the main problems of science, the implementation of its results, the participation of young people in it and the list goes on. How to solve them under sanctions? Representatives of leading institutes and universities, government bodies, commercial and state corporations, leaders of national science, as well as young scientists from Russia and other countries will express their opinions.

According to the advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobiakov, the congress is a unique platform for communication between young active specialists and experienced professionals of the creative industry; Here principles are generated that form the conditions for the synthesis and integration of scientific and creative knowledge. projects at the federal level.

This year the Congress brought together more than 4,500 participants from more than 25 countries, including the Republic of Belarus, China, Iran, the Republic of Cuba, South Africa, Kazakhstan and others. The Congress business program includes more than 100 events. It consists of five thematic axes: “Major challenges – opportunities for development”; “Opportunities of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia”; “The space of the country is a space of opportunities”; “Space for international scientific and technical cooperation”; “Development tools”.

This year the Congress brought together more than 4,500 participants from more than 25 countries.

For example, the theme “Grand Challenges – Opportunities for Development” examines the issues of creating and supporting technologies that meet Russia’s national interests in addressing grand challenges. Scientists and experts will discuss the development of modern chemical and natural technologies, the creation and use of new quantum materials and tools, the use of artificial intelligence, the organization of scientific research of young scientists in the field of climate management and ecosystems to ensure the technological independence of the country.

The block “Opportunities for the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia” is dedicated to projects that help solve the key tasks of the Decade: attracting talented young people to the field of research and development, involving researchers and developers in the solution of the most important problems of the development of society and the country, as well as increasing the availability of information about the achievements and prospects of Russian science.

Prominent scientists will give lectures, for example, academician Yuri Oganesyan will talk about the unique work on obtaining new elements from Mendeleev’s periodic table. The debate “Science and Art” will reveal the relationship between the scientific principles of creating works of art and the creative approach in the formation of future cultural figures. The famous theater and film actor, artistic director of the Oleg Tabakov Theater in Moscow, Vladimir Mashkov, will take part in the debate.
