“The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, received today the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade, Alexander Bocan-Harchenko,” the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The head of Serbian diplomacy, Ivica Dacic, exchanged views with the Russian ambassador, Alexander Bocan-Harchenko, on the most important issues of mutual interest, as well as on issues of further international cooperation.

On the afternoon of December 24, protesters tried to break into the Belgrade municipal administration building, but were repulsed by law enforcement. At this time, activists were blocking one of the central streets near the building of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Demonstrators protest against the results of the parliamentary and municipal elections held on December 17.
