The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Armed Forces, Herzi Halevi, adopted a plan for new military operations against Hamas after the end of the truce. The press service of the Israeli army spoke about this on Telegram.
“Today, the chief of the General Staff, together with the commander of the Southern Military District, assessed the situation in the district and approved plans to continue hostilities after the end of the ceasefire,” the Israeli army press service said.
Earlier, Israel and Hamas reached an agreement on a four-day truce, as well as an exchange of 50 hostages held by Hamas for 150 Palestinian prisoners.
