Let us remind you that the Senior Legal Award “Lawyer of the Year” was established by decree of the President of the Russian Federation in October 2009. This year the award ceremony will be held for the fifteenth time. As reported by ALR, the ceremony will take place in the Hall of Columns of the Chamber of Trade Unions. The organizer is the Russian Bar Association.
“In 2023, the prize will be awarded in five areas: “For contribution to legal sciences”, “Human rights activities”, “Legal education”, “Development of legislation” and “Legal education and training”. nomination – “For his contribution to the protection of social and labor rights,” said the AUR.
Over the years, award winners have been: Chairman of the Constitutional Court Valery Zorkin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin, Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation Konstantin Chuychenko, Rector of St. Petersburg State University Nikolay Kropachev, and other famous jurists, lawyers, scientists and legislators.
The award is a recognition of the services of highly qualified lawyers to society and the State. Each time the award ceremony becomes a significant event for the legal community.
In addition to the “Lawyer of the Year” award, according to tradition, the All-Russian Legal (Legal) Dictation will be released on this day.
