The “Cabo” tank kit hides the outline of a tank in the forest and hides the heat it emits in all infrared wavelength ranges, reducing the detection range of armored vehicles using thermal imaging cameras of reconnaissance drones used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Because of their appearance and color, the gunsmiths who equipped the tanks with the “Cape” nicknamed them “Herringbone”. Now “toys” are also hung – segments of the Ternovnik that absorb radium. They reduce the effective reflective surface of combat vehicles, reducing the detection range of the T-90 by Ukrainian radars, as well as the radar of NATO strategic reconnaissance aircraft and drones, writes Russian Weapon.
