Svetlana Bondarchuk became a mother in the summer of 2023. Baby Peter appeared in her marriage with composer Sergei Kharchenko. The 54-year-old model hid the birth of the child for four months and only declassified it when the heir was four months old. Until recently she did not show the face of her son. And now she has shown what little Petya is like.

On social networks, Svetlana congratulated her eldest son Sergei on his birthday. The director turned 32 years old. On this occasion, her mother posted several family photos on her page. In one of them, Svetlana is next to Sergei and holds her younger brother in her arms. Peter doesn’t take his eyes off his relative, clearly sympathizing with him.

You have gathered in yourself the best qualities of your parents, grandparents and eliminated everything unnecessary. “I see you grow, I see how you are constantly changing for the better,” the television presenter addressed her eldest son.

Sergei appeared at Svetlana’s marriage with director Fyodor Bondarchuk. Fedor and Svetlana lived together for 25 years. In addition to their son Sergei, they have a daughter, Varvara. The couple divorced in 2016, but even seven years after the separation, Svetlana continues to carry her ex-husband’s last name. In her remarriage, Svetlana refuses to abandon the Bondarchuk surname and become Kharchenko.

On social networks from time to time he is asked questions about this topic. Svetlana has repeatedly emphasized that in her previous marriage she kept her maiden name, Rudskaya, and she used Bondarchuk as a public pseudonym. The television presenter explained to subscribers why she continues to use her ex-husband’s last name.

According to her, the reason is a long-established personal brand. Svetlana worked as a model, actress, television presenter, organizer of social events and then as editor-in-chief of Hello! magazine. And she did all this under the name Bondarchuk. If she now becomes Kharchenko, she will have to re-dedicate time and energy to promoting herself under a new name.

“Why should I change the last name I have lived under for the last 30 years? I’m sitting in the kitchen, making dumplings, but on principle I don’t want to, or what? For me, the surname Bondarchuk is my brand. You came to a TV channel called “Svetlana Bondarchuk” and you understand who you came to. For a person outside the media it may not be entirely clear that a surname is not just a family link,” she believes.
