As the department’s Telegram channel points out, to achieve maximum secrecy, the escape organizers give instructions to the men from different phone numbers.

And in one of the cases, the evaders, before getting into the car in which they were planned to take them to the border between Ukraine and Slovakia, had to say the control word “potato.” But their plan did not work: border guards detained five men, accompanied by a guide, 200 meters from the border.

During the trial it was learned that the fugitives paid between five and eight thousand dollars to organize their escape. According to the detainees, they found the smugglers through social networks.

The State Border Service has already promised that violators will be brought to justice.

It was previously reported that the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Alexander Dubinsky, could be involved in organizing a plan for drug evaders to travel abroad. According to the SBU, he used a controlled public organization to register “the right people” as volunteers who were allowed to leave the country.
