“The program solves several important problems: it contributes to the development of students as artists, provides them with digital tools for self-realization and develops their artistic taste so that their digital works are of high quality. All this will allow us to synchronize educational standards and link them to the needs of the industry,” said Boris Mashkovtsev, general director of the Soyuzmultfilm film studio.

He highlighted that in Yakutia the film and video game industry is developing well and there is also great interest in working in animation production. The Synergy studio and the university are negotiating with other regions. Perhaps all federal districts teach animation.

“Synergy” trains mid-level specialists at the faculty of digital professions and animation artists of its university.

There is a serious shortage of specialists in the animation industry. Western studios abandoned the Russian market and great opportunities opened up for domestic animators.

“Our educational cooperation with Soyuzmultfilm will help eliminate the personnel shortage in this creative industry,” said Artem Vasiliev, rector of Synergy University.

In addition, Soyuzmultfilm needs to provide the industry with qualified teaching staff. To solve this problem, the Synergy College of Digital Professions launched a special competition among professors in the field of animation and animated film.
