On Friday, December 22, they gathered in Zelenograd to open a new hall at the city’s central station “Zelenograd-Kryukovo”, which allows passengers to immediately leave the train station to a ground transport stop, for this purpose it was installed for the first time in Moscow on the existing Kryukovskaya Automobile overpass.

“Last year was a breakthrough in our joint work with Russian Railways to modernize rail transport,” Sobyanin stressed. “We opened two diameters at the same time: MCD-3 and MCD-4. And today the surface meter is already used.” with more than 1.2 million passengers a day. “We also ended the year on a good note: an integration hall is being opened at the new station in the city of Zelenograd-Kryukovo, thanks to which the transfer from the train to the bus will take only three minutes instead of 6. Thanks to our colleagues of Russian Railways for this wonderful New Year’s gift to Muscovites.”

The head of Russian Railways thanked the mayor and the government of Moscow for their joint work and noted that many problems can be quickly resolved precisely thanks to the interest of the city authorities. At the same time, new railway projects in Moscow are always in high demand among passengers. “Just a few months ago a station was opened in Zelenograd and passenger traffic here has already increased by 20 percent, and for the MCD as a whole there is an increase of 30 percent,” Belozerov said.

This year Zelenograd not only received a new urban station, but also an entire transport system. Currently, comfortable trains run to Moscow almost every five minutes, and the new station not only replaced the old underground passages under the tracks, but also allowed citizens to transfer to land transport without practically leaving.

However, plans for the development of the Zelenograd main station do not end there. The schedule signed by Sobyanin and Belozerov states that an additional lobby will also open next year as part of this facility in the form of an overpass over Lenin Street. In addition, in 2024, Muscovites will receive a new Mitkovo MCD-3 station, a rebuilt Shcherbinka MCD-2 station, a new concourse at the Belorussky station, the northern concourse of the Testovskaya MCD-4 station with access to the Big City area . , a single section that will complete the integration of the Kutuzovskaya MCD-4 station with the metro, a new concourse of the Delovoi Tsentr station and a new southern concourse of the Lianozovo MCD-1 station. More than 250 thousand inhabitants of Moscow and the region will use the infrastructure of these facilities every day, said Sergei Sobyanin.
