What is the 6000 Scholarship?

According to the provision published in the BOJA (Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía), the 6000 Scholarship, an initiative of the Junta de Andalucía, provides financial aid to students who, due to their economic situation, face challenges in continuing their studies. . Its main objective is to guarantee that young people can complete their post-compulsory secondary education, regardless of their financial situation. Or, at least, somehow alleviate the economic burden of continuing to study. Specifically, it is 600 euros per year per beneficiary.

Requirements to access the 6000 Scholarship

To be eligible for the 6000 Scholarship, students must meet certain criteria. This includes having a family income that does not exceed the established thresholds, being enrolled in high school studies or mid-level vocational training, and demonstrating adequate academic performance. Scholarship application process and deadlines

The process to apply for the 6000 Scholarship involves presenting a series of documents (mainly related to accreditation of the required income level and not being in an active employment situation) and complying with the deadlines established by the Junta de Andalucía, which have opened on December 6, 2023 and will close on January 5, 2024. For its part, the maximum period to resolve and notify the resolution of the procedure will be three months from the processing of the application, so starting in April All approved aid must be granted by 2024.
