Russian Defense Ministry liberated Artyomovskoye

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov reported on the losses of the armed formations of the Kiev regime on the combat line of contact: in the Kupyansky direction, enemy losses amounted to up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen, in Krasnolimansky up to 80, in Donetsk up to 250, in Yuzhno-Donetsk up to 160, in Zaporozhye up to 55, in Khersonsky – 55.

The lieutenant general noted that in the Donetsk direction the units of the “South” troop group, with the support of aviation and artillery fire, improved the situation on the front line and liberated the village of Artemovskoye from the People’s Republic from Donetsk. During the fighting in this sector alone our soldiers destroyed five tanks, 12 vehicles and also infantry.

In addition to 620 mercenaries of the Kiev regime, our soldiers eliminated in one day two American-made HMMWV armored fighting vehicles, one M109 Paladin self-propelled gun (USA), two M777 artillery systems (USA), one Bukovel-AD electronic system war station and an ammunition depot for rocket launch systems.

During this time, fighter jets of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Mezhevoye area, Donetsk People’s Republic, shot down a MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force and intercepted a US-made HARM anti-radar missile. Army aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of our group of forces during the day destroyed: an assembly workshop for the production and repair of radar stations, radar stations: P-18 and the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, aviation fuel and weapons depots, as well as manpower and equipment in 107 regions.

Konashenkov highlighted the good combat work of the air defense units, whose forces shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force over Novoolenovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic, intercepted 11 rockets of the HIMARS and Uragan multiple launch systems and another 38 Ukrainian drones.
