In the training center of the Southern Military District (SMD), located in the Krasnodar Territory, training of servicemen who entered military service under contract in the Russian Armed Forces is carried out around the clock.

– In the specially equipped tankdrome and in the infantry combat vehicle department of the training center, the crews of the BTR-82A combat vehicles and T-72B3 tanks are trained, complying with the rules of driving and combat shooting with standard weapons. Additionally, flamethrower units enhance tactical shooting and assault operations skills with RPO-A Shmel portable anti-tank flamethrowers. Flamethrower teams practice live firing with thermobaric ammunition against motor vehicles and light armored vehicles of the conventional enemy at a distance of up to 700 meters.

Under the guidance of experienced officers and instructors-mentors with modern combat experience acquired during a special military operation, future defenders of the Fatherland learn the basics of tactical medicine, military tactical shooting, engineering positions and work with unmanned aerial vehicles .

The actions of the military at the range are recorded using a new electronic control system “Electronic Range Twin”, installed in the control center of the training center. From there, instructors can more effectively monitor each soldier’s actions and quickly make adjustments during the training process.
