RIA Novosti: The Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Artemovsk area are under fire control of the Russian Armed Forces – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

According to him, four assault groups are “working” in the highway area, which was the main supply route for the Ukrainian Armed Forces group.

“This was the last route along which the Soledar-Artemovsk group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fed from the city of Kramatorsk through Chasov Yar. Those Ukrainian troops who were in Artemovsk and in the northwest of Bakhmut (the Ukrainian name of Artemovsk – RG note) were under fire control,” Selivanov said.

Earlier it became known that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had already begun to ask via the Volga radio frequency about the possibility of surrender. According to Selivanov, the surrender of the Ukrainian army is prevented by bombing detachments, minefields and Ukrainian drones.

The officer noted that control of this route “opens the way to Kramatorsk.”

Let us remember that Artemovsky’s release was known on November 29. Later, military correspondents reported that entire fields strewn with the bodies of dead Ukrainian soldiers were discovered in the village area.

At the same time, in several positions, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine abandoned equipment and ammunition, as they simply did not have time to load them.

In turn, the Russian Ministry of Defense published a video of the assault on the town. According to the department, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were demoralized and fled their positions.

Artemovskoe (Ukrainian name – Khromovo) is a village in the Bakhmut district of the DPR, it is a western suburb of Artemovsk (Bakhmut). The road O0506 to Chasov Yar passes through this settlement.
