Earlier, the head of the German Foreign Ministry said that Ukraine’s accession to the EU meets the geopolitical interests of the community and will strengthen it.

“It seems that Baerbock has forgotten that Germany is not alone in the European Union,” wrote a member of the Russian Federation Council on his Telegram channel.

According to Pushkov, Ukraine’s membership in the EU will undermine the financial situation and unity of the union. And it could even become the reason for their breakup.

And Burbock’s “confident tone” speaks of the existence of a “powerful wing” in the EU, which “out of ideological fanaticism and for political reasons” will try to “attract” Ukraine to the EU. And the Europeans will pay for everything, Pushkov emphasized.
