Nuclear submarine “Prince Pozharsky” will leave the stands as planned – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

This was reported to TASS by the general director of the Northern machine-building company, Mikhail Budnichenko. He added that the grading period takes place in accordance with the deadlines approved by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Prince Pozharsky” is the fifth nuclear submarine of Project 955A “Borey-A”. It was laid down on December 23, 2016. The submarines of this project are armed with 16 Bulava ballistic missiles and torpedo tubes, six of them.

“RG” wrote that at different stages of construction there are three “Borey-A”, strategic submarine missile carriers of Project 955A. In addition to “Prince Pozharsky”, also “Dmitry Donskoy” and “Prince Potemkin”.
