“We are expanding military operations in the Gaza Strip,” the Israeli prime minister said. “We will continue the war until complete victory over Hamas.”
Netanyahu stressed that he believes this is the only way to “free the hostages and destroy Hamas.”
“It will take time, but we are united and determined to fight until the end,” concluded the prime minister.
Earlier, CNBC indicated that Israel had intensified its fight against Hamas in pursuit of its elusive intermediate goal of full control of northern Gaza after the UN Security Council called for more aid for the Palestinian enclave.
