The government in 2024 will continue to implement national projects and state programs to achieve the objectives set by the president. This was stated by Mikhail Mishustin at a government meeting on Thursday.

The Prime Minister thanked the State Duma and the Federation Council for their work in approving the draft three-year budget. According to him, the Cabinet of Ministers managed to balance the country’s main financial document in the face of current external challenges.

Mishustin assured that all social obligations towards Russians will be fully fulfilled.

– At the center of all our plans are people and improving their quality of life. “This is an absolute priority of the State,” said the prime minister.

In his words, the main social directions will continue to be assistance to families with children, the development of medicine and education.

Among the tasks that the government will have to solve next year, Mishustin mentioned the strengthening of financial stability and technological sovereignty, as well as the construction of modern infrastructure, including for the integration of new regions.

At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the preparation of housing and communal services enterprises for winter was also discussed. Mishustin said that in electric power companies diesel fuel reserves currently exceed standards by 35% and coal reserves by 240%.

Mishustin ordered the government to keep the situation under control. The Prime Minister recalled that a unified accident monitoring system was created three years ago and asked to act proactively, replacing obsolete equipment in a timely manner.

“And, what is also important, reduce the debt of consumers with resource provider organizations,” said the Prime Minister.

As the head of the Ministry of Construction, Irek Faizullin, said, emergency situations and the advancement of the heating season in the new regions are kept under special control.

– We keep the situation under control, all issues are discussed in regular weekly meetings with the regions and at the federal headquarters. The necessary resources are ready,” stated the head of the Ministry of Construction.
