Ministry of Industry and Trade: Sales of new cars in Russia increased by 59% in 11 months – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

“According to the results from January to November 2023, 1,174,575 new cars (up to 3 years) were sold in the Russian Federation, 59% more than in the same period last year (739,521 units),” it says in the notice.

At the same time, domestically produced cars accounted for 49.5% of the total volume.

Sales of passenger cars in 11 months increased by 60%, up to 938.6 thousand vehicles, light commercial vehicles – by 35%, up to 92.3 thousand units, trucks – by 82%, up to 128.1 thousand, buses – by 24 %, up to 15.6 thousand.
