At the global forum to be held in Dubai with the participation of almost seventy thousand delegates, Alexander Lukashenko will express the approaches and proposals of the Republic of Belarus to address global issues of climate and environmental security. In addition, the presidential administration clarified that the Belarusian leader will hold a series of meetings and negotiations on the sidelines of the summit.

The day before, the president, during a meeting with the government, said that he hoped to meet in the United Arab Emirates with the presidents of several African states and agree with them on negotiations and, if necessary, visits to these countries.

He highlights, in particular, the good commercial and economic relations with Zimbabwe and hopes, thanks to stable bilateral contacts, “to reach the continent and neighboring States.”

According to Lukashenko, there is also interest from Mozambique in Belarus. “They are interested in us repeating Zimbabwe’s experience in Mozambique” and transferring technology to them in those sectors in which the republic “has certain competencies.”
