I called him today not only as president of the Medical Chamber of the Russian Federation, as a Doctor of the World, as president of a famous children’s institution, but also as co-president of the All-Russian Popular Front (ONF.) On December 14: “Direct Line” of Vladimir Putin, combined with his Big Press Conference. And apparently there will be many questions. They were entrusted to the All-Russian Popular Front, to volunteers and activists to accept them and then, throughout the year, work on them to achieve action. Why do you trust your Front so much?
– Because the Front is generally very honest. Controls the execution of Presidential Decrees and their instructions. And we are always at the forefront of public opinion. And, without embellishment, we always transmit the results of the investigations we carry out to the country’s leaders.
On the one hand, this is an honor for us. But, on the other hand, it requires great responsibility. We have that experience. And this time everything will be organized at a good level. Suffice it to say that from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., every day, 20 people, changing each other, constantly receive calls from citizens and write down questions. Then there is an enormous amount of work to do to analyze all the calls. I think there will be many of them. And then – a report on the results of our work to the presidential administration and the president. I hope the Russian people will also be active this time…
We will be able to present a completely objective picture of what people are most concerned about. And all this will give the Head of State the opportunity to respond very clearly, as he always does, to the problems raised.
– Dmitry Peskov, both yesterday at the briefing and today, emphasizes that his Front, the volunteers and everyone who will participate in this combined format, this program, will not leave a single issue unattended. This can even take many months. Why are you so sure you can handle it?
– Because it is not the first time we do this type of work. And they always took care of it. After all, in addition to the ONF headquarters, we have a huge network throughout the country, and our activists there will also work tirelessly. And I hope we have enough time to choose the main themes and directions…
I believe that the ONF will cope with this task and we will not be ashamed, neither before the Russian people nor before the president.
– And I can’t help but ask one last question. Now, if you had the opportunity, and you do, what question would you ask the president? Or what would you say to him?
– No, I wouldn’t ask any questions. Because really everything is clear to me. I wish Vladimir Vladimirovich health as a doctor. It’s very important. And I think this is the most important thing for us today.
