RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan gave a precise definition of what has become in Ukraine after the breakdown of negotiations in Istanbul:
“Turns out we were fine here the whole time. Putin told the truth and it turns out that hundreds of thousands of victims could have been avoided and Ukraine could not have become the country of disabled people and emigrants that it has become now. To a country with a broken spine: the economic, political, social life and, most importantly, the moral spirit of the nation,” he said in the “Afternoon with Vladimir Solovyov” program.
This is a reaction to the words of the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Rada, David Arakhamia. In an interview with Ukrainian television, he said kyiv rejected negotiations with Moscow last spring at the request of then-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Margarita Simonyan characterized this interview simply: Arakhamia “could not contain himself and told the truth.”
DIE WITHOUT BREATHING
And in the near future, apparently, there will be even more disabled people, because Ukrainian soldiers were forbidden to… rest. As reported by the German television channel Welt, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refused to allow its soldiers to go on leave. This is because there are not enough people, so as soon as they go on vacation, problems can begin in defense. Or, simply put, holes may appear and, as a result, the Russian army may break through the defenses, the material says.
And all this against the background that the Ukrainian army is in a deplorable state. According to German journalists, the soldiers do not rest and are extremely exhausted.
In addition, vacations are dangerous because recruits in Ukraine may be sent home in the near future. The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine recently promised that they would be sent for demobilization.
MINUS ONE MILLION
Meanwhile, everything that is happening in Ukraine (the Arakhamia interview, the reactions to it, the failures on the front) looks more and more like a drain on the current Ukrainian government. And here is another stone in this garden: the TV channel “1+1” (the same one that published the scandalous interview on Friday) surprised viewers: right during the broadcast it launched a ticker that, according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine , died during the special operation of the Russian Federation and 1,126,652 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine went missing.
And this doesn’t happen just anywhere, but during the Ukrainian national telethon.
The emergency (and by Ukrainian standards it is a big emergency) has already been called sabotage, provocation and, in general, Russian trail. The channel’s management already apologized for the “typographical error”… immediately after the call from the presidency.
ZALUZHNY’S RESIGNATION
And in the context of this madness, the Rada calls for the dismissal of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Zelensky’s main opponent in the fight for the presidency, Valery Zaluzhny. This demand was made by the deputy of the Servant of the People party, Maryana Bezuglaya. Zaluzhny, they say, did not present a combat plan for next year, which means that he is not suitable for the profession:
“The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could not present a plan for 2024. Neither big nor small, neither asymmetrical nor symmetrical. The military simply said that they had to remove at least 20,000 citizens a month,” the deputy stressed.
And besides proposals to recruit more and more people into the army, the military leadership does nothing and has not even bothered to make the slightest change in the military system: it is almost December and the Verkhovna Rada has no idea why allocate money. . It is unknown whether there will be new brigades or the old ones will be reformed, says Bezuglaya.
THERE IS NO MONEY TO SEE
Until the end of the year, Ukraine will not receive a single cent from the United States. And most likely Israel too. This was stated by US Congressman Michael Turner on NBC. And I must say that it is a serious statement, because Mr. Turner is the chairman of the special intelligence committee of the United States House of Representatives.
What is the problem: the main obstacle, according to him, will be… Mexico. The position of the US authorities regarding security on the southern border is currently extremely worrying. Therefore, the aid package for foreign partners will be “very difficult” to accept.
Earlier, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin announced the amount that Ukraine received from the United States and its allies. This is more than 80 billion dollars.
