In recent days there has been a lot of talk about Dynamo forward Konstantin Tyukavin. And not just because he scored for the fifth consecutive game. Conflicting information has emerged regarding the 21-year-old forward’s contract. “Championship” asked for comments from agent Alexei Safonov, who represents the forward’s interests.
– When did you start running the Tyukavin business? – I was 13-14 years old. So he already stood out, but for some reason neither he nor Vlad Galkin played in the youth team.
– Why exactly did Tyukavin stand out as a child? “Both his brother and father played bandy.” My father is a legend, eight-time world champion. He says that now his son would play for the Russian hockey team without problems. He stands very firmly on his feet.
– Does your experience in bandy help in any way on the soccer field? – A moment ago there was a match between Dynamo and CSKA. Kostya and Rosha faced each other a couple of times shoulder to shoulder: the Brazilian went flying, although he was bigger. And the winning goal was typical Kostya. It was necessary to have time to react to a rebound from the opponent. When I spoke with Movsesyan (CSKA sports director – Championship Note) and other people, they measured the speed of decision-making in the area. Vlasic had 0.8 seconds and Kostya had 0.33.

– Is this the best indicator of RPL? – Yes. Tyukavin is not greedy either, he is always willing to share the ball and is almost never caught offside. In my opinion, the coach’s decisions defied logic. Kostya always goes out onto the field with a smile, although it is clear that different things are happening in his heart. When he didn’t score nine straight rounds, they criticized him, everyone was ready to kick. He now constantly notes: my father’s phone rings non-stop with congratulations. He now he has become good for everyone.
– How often do you communicate? Once a month? Once a week? – Are you laughing or what? It happens 10 times a day. It’s clear that I don’t call on the day of the game, I’m superstitious. When the game ends, we cancel it immediately and call each other the next day. We have absolutely transparent relationships. My father does not interfere anywhere, although he has been written many times that an agent is not needed.

– Have they ever tried to take Tyukavin from you? – There have been and surely there will be attempts of this type. Previously, under Tolstoy, a kind of Code of Honor was signed, but now… A guy hits the ball twice and one person writes to him and another calls him. We face this every day. People don’t understand that when you communicate constantly, the player is already like a member of your family. I don’t chase hundreds of clients, but I help those who do: with university, with boots, with divorce, with a loan, with vouchers, with football tickets or with a towed car.
– How do you react to agents who approach your players? – It’s unpleasant, of course, but where to go? There is a joke. An old Jew is asked which wife she is better: devoted, but ugly, or beautiful, but with a lot of suitors? He drank wine and replied: “It is better to eat cake with friends than to shit alone.”

– Is there any interest from CSKA and Zenit? – CSKA asked, but Dynamo refused in the summer.
– Agent Timur Gurtskaya said that there are two offers from Europe regarding Tyukavin. – More. But I think that a proposal is when a piece of paper arrives at the club. And keep in mind that in Europe almost all transfers take place in the summer. In winter they don’t have that break for a player to get in shape: there are two games a week. Well, it must be taken into account that some European countries are not willing to close agreements with Russian clubs. Now the tension seems to be easing a bit.
– Which championship would suit Tyukavin? –Spain is ideal. Germany and Italy are also good options. With England it is more difficult: either you have to play for the national team or get a “special talent” visa. Kostya made his debut in the national team, but he still has everything ahead of him. But he might as well get a visa, because he has more than 100 games and more than 30 goals at the age of 21.
– Clubs from which countries are interested in Tyukavin? – They came from Italy. More precisely, the scout was from Holland, but focuses specifically on Italy.
