Kamikaze drone “Privet-82” was modernized taking into account the experience of the Northern Military District – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

The interlocutor of the agency said that while work was being done on improving the drone, a new modification of the device was created – “Privet-82M1”.

“The new ground station allows you to control the drone from a basement or a cave, placing repeaters with an antenna on a hill. The safety of the crew is our priority,” they said in the design office.

As RG previously wrote, Privet-82 aircraft-type attack drones of the Russian Armed Forces began to be used in three directions in the area of ​​​​the Northern Military District: Ugledar, Kherson and Artemovsk. Information on the number of drones in war is classified. What is known is that drones are used for counter-battery warfare.

The flight range of the device is up to 30 kilometers, the maximum speed is 140 kilometers per hour.
