Ice was prepared in the streams of the suburban villages of Khatassy and Tulagino-Kildyamtsy and then delivered to families.
The mayor of Yakutsk, Evgeny Grigoriev, also participated in the cleanup. The delivery of river ice is one of the most frequent requests at this time by the families of SVO participants who live in private homes.
The head of the city noted that the city’s Support Center for Military Personnel and Their Families, as well as the Yakutsk mayor’s office, handled about 10 thousand requests for various assistance during the year.
The ice prepared by municipal employees during the cleanup was delivered to eight families. In total 40 cubic meters of frozen water were delivered.
