In the Novosibirsk region, fishermen who were adrift on an ice floe were rescued – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Rescue teams were informed of the situation around eleven in the morning, local time. It took two hours for the employees of the Berdsk search and rescue team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the PSO Iskitim of the emergency rescue service of the Novosibirsk region to save the fishermen: they had difficulty reaching the extreme fishermen in a hovercraft.

As indicated on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Novosibirsk region, the thickness of the ice on the reservoir currently does not exceed eight centimeters.

“All fishermen were rescued on land, no medical assistance was necessary: ​​four men were brought ashore by local witnesses on a private boat, the rest were evacuated by rescue teams,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.

The department notes that November this year is unpredictable: the thaw gives way to a strong cold wave with hurricane-force winds, and after a few days the temperature rises again to plus two degrees.

On November 23, a Niva car fell through the ice on the Bratsk reservoir in the Irkutsk region. He drowned 15 meters from the shore, the driver, born in 1973, died.
