In the Amur region, an official of the Ministry of Transport was detained for a bribe of 5.5 million rubles – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

According to the preliminary version, between August and October 2021, the official received an expensive car and money from the head of a local organization. For a bribe of 5.5 million rubles, a representative of the Ministry of Transport provided him with favorable conditions for concluding municipal contracts.

“The crime was discovered within the framework of operational search activities carried out by employees of the Directorate of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Amur region,” the press service of the regional investigative committee noted.

The suspect, at the request of the investigator, was taken into custody.

In addition, Amur investigators are investigating another criminal case of fraud. The briber is identified as a suspect.
