In Komi, a bear attacked four loggers – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

According to them, the emergency occurred 60 kilometers from the village of Troitse-Pechorskoye. Four workers came to mark the plot, divided in two. The route passed by a den, from which a bear jumped out and attacked the shift workers who were walking first.

The workers who closed the platoon managed to turn on the chainsaw and scare away the beast. They dragged their wounded companions to the place where the connection occurred and called for help.

Two people were seriously injured: the bear scalped them, broke their arm and bit their thigh. One victim had the bones in his face crushed. They are now hospitalized and in intensive care.
