“Ideal after a busy season.” How Daniil Medvedev vacations in the Maldives

The tennis player has fun with his wife and the Indian Ocean.
Daniil Medvedev had one of the best seasons of his career: over the past year he won five tournaments, reached the semifinals of Wimbledon, competed for the US Open title and maintained his place in the top three.
After leaving the final tournament, Daniil shared his plans for the offseason.
“It’s different every year. Unlike other players, I haven’t been on vacation for a long time. I once played Davis Cup. Last year we had a child, so I immediately returned to my duties.
This year my wife and I will go to the islands for the first time in four or five years. She doesn’t like it very much because there is nothing to do there. But for me it’s ideal after a busy season. I like it (smiles),” said the tennis player during a press conference in Turin.

Daniil fulfilled everything planned: the Medvedevs are now on vacation in the Maldives. And they do it with great sweetness and joy.
Daniil shared his first photos from his vacation. On them it rolls happily down the hill towards the Indian Ocean. It seems that this is exactly what the tennis player wanted when he talked about an ideal vacation.
The following shots show Medvedev playing with rabbits on the beach. And the whole image of stern Daniil on the court instantly evaporates after such videos. It is impossible not to be touched.
The Medvedevs probably went on vacation without their daughter Alice. Daniil and Daria share photos and videos of how they spend time just the two of them. The other day, for example, they were diving. The tennis player, as he lives up to his nickname Octopus, was closer than ever to his natural environment.
This is not the first vacation for Daniil this year. In the summer after Wimbledon, she took a short break and spent a few weeks with her family. The Medvedevs vacationed in the south of France, attended friends’ birthdays and attended concerts. And yet, the tennis player has rested well right now, in the Maldives.

After the final, Medvedev shared how he plans to start the new season.
“I’ll probably only play the Australian Open, I won’t play pre-season tournaments. I’ll try to spend more time on vacation, let’s see how it works.”
The 2024 Australian Open will be held from January 14 to 28. There, apparently, we will see Medvedev for the first time after the offseason.
