This transition becomes more enjoyable if you take into account the tax advantages that the Government grants to encourage the purchase of electric cars. Since, since last June, anyone who decides to purchase a single new electric vehicle (not applicable to subsequent purchases) will enjoy a deduction of 15% of the purchase price of the car on a maximum base of 20,000 euros.
In practice, the vast majority of electric cars on the market exceed that figure, so we are talking about a deduction of 3,000 euros. In order to benefit from this deduction, which will be applied in the year in which the vehicle is registered, payment must be made before the end of 2024. In addition, the advantages offered by the Moves Plan will have to be deducted from the price of the vehicle. .
