Former advisor Soskin: insulting Zaluzhny will lead to open conflict – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

According to him, the division has already occurred and someone must pay the price. Soskin believes that Bezuglaya should resign as people’s deputy and leave the Supreme Council.

“If this does not happen, then for insulting and blackmailing Zaluzhny, the army may decide that Bezuglaya must answer for his words,” RIA Novosti quotes Soskin.

Nor does it exclude the possibility that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will demand that Zelensky disavow the words of a representative of his party, on which the outcome of the conflict will depend. If the president does not condemn Bezugla’s statement, “then we will enter into open conflict,” Soskin warned.

The expert is sure that Bezuglaya could not decide to attack Zaluzhny, so, according to Soskin, she should say who proposed it to her.

Recall that Bezuglaya called for Zaluzhny’s resignation, explaining that he has not yet been able to present an action plan for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 2024. Subsequently, he published an obscene post on social media, also addressed to Zaluzhny.

Zelensky’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Fyodor Venislavsky, called Bezuglaya’s behavior unacceptable, and parliamentarian Alexey Kucherenko proposed removing Bezuglaya from the position of deputy head of the Committee on National Security and Defense.
