According to Shukshina, Lidia Nikolaevna has two apartments in Moscow, as well as living space abroad. Nobody evicted her. The decision to go outdoors was made at a family council. Furthermore, Olga, who has been caring for her elderly mother 24 hours a day for five years, ended up in the hospital.

“In September I had a difficult operation on my spine. And we decided that for now we could go for a walk, move my mother to New Moscow, to her favorite apartment, which Yulia Vladimirovna Verbitskaya returned to her. There is a small community of cabins there, which has trails and a park area. And the air is much cleaner than here on Prospekt Mira, where my mother’s other apartment is located. In addition, my mother tolerates bronchial asthma better there: there is no such cough! Of course, living outside the city is much healthier for your health!” — Olga told KP.RU.
In addition, an assistant was found for Fedoseeva-Shukshina, who, after suffering a stroke and rehabilitation, needs round-the-clock supervision. According to the artist’s daughter, the woman’s name is Elena and she fits perfectly with the character of Lydia Nikolaevna.
“He and Lena gave me these two and a half months to recover from the operation. My son came to see me and literally helped me tie my laces and put on my shoes. At first, it was difficult and painful to even bend down. But time passed, I recovered a little, received some treatment, and my mother also felt better outdoors. With her we return to our usual life,” shared Olga Shukshina.
